General introduction about Chu Lai urban industrial zone

When Chu Lai-Quang Ngai open economic zone was put on stream by the goverment, realizing the potential of this region along with the goal to develop Vietnam auto production industry, in 2003, Thaco boldly invested and developed Thaco I.Z auto mechanical industrial zone at Chu Lai open economic zone.

With the advantage in transportation such as 1A national highway, South North railway line, Tam Hiep Port and Chu Lai international airport which is assessed to be the biggest airport in Viet Nam, it could be easy for Thaco I.Z to dominate the domestic market and stretch out to markets in the region.

Additionally, attractive investment incentive policies of Quang Nam province offer plenty of convenient conditions for investors. Besides preferential policies of the government in investment, land and taxes, investors also enjoy a great deal of support from Quang Nam province's authorities in human resources training and image publicity. Especially, one-door policy is applied to all investors in Thaco IZ and the management board of industrial zone will assist investors with investment procedures, which will help to reduce time and save a lot of money for them.

Currently, Thaco has finished stage-I investment including : Chu Lai Truong Hai auto assembly and production factory, Thaco Kia assembly and production factory, logistics center, Star Ship I & II, electric wire and chair factory, glue and chemical factory. At the same time, Thaco has reduced finishing time of cargo box and chassis factory, steel rolling mill in parallel with ground clearance and infrastructure development of industrial and residential zone.
