“Change to develop”

To all members of Thaco family

Dear all,

In the letter sent to you in the early of 2009, I called on all members of Thaco family to show the self-improvement in order to “consolidate internal force, build up foundation and create sustainable development”. In the first 6 months, with appropriate adjustments we have gained stable business and production. It could be said that with the current potential of abundant financial source, nationwide sales distribution network as well as production factories and the upcoming plan of building Chu Lai auto mechanical industrial park, we present a firm foundation for all members of the company to work and create confidently. Although having overcome the global economic recession, we still have to face bigger challenges which are not for us alone but for the entire national auto industry. As you know, in the process of integration to 2018 when auto import tax is 0%, domestic products should cope with quite a lot of difficulties against foreign ones. What should we do to be able to survive from this harsh reality? It is not only me but also all members of Thaco family concerns with this problem.

The topic of Thaco family festival held in Ha Noi, heart of the nation, on the occasion of 1000 year Thang Long festival which was being directed toward and 64 year anniversary of the National Day with the topic of “whole-hearted devotion” showed our determination of devoting to the company and the country. “Whole-hearted devotion” will be a motive helping us weather challenges during integration process. In order to bring this concept of whole-hearted devotion into action, one should be aware of participating in the development of the country and the people. Our country is changing day by day, even hour by hour to keep pace with the world’s development in aspects of economy, culture and society. Therefore, each member of Thaco family also needs to innovate positively, especially one’s own personality. As I often share my confidences with you, with our current large scale of business human resource has become a crucial factor in the process of building up foundation to create firm development. Human resource’s culture will be paid much attention to two factors: attitude and capability. A right attitude and appropriate capability will well operate the management system that we have built up. Beside improving  competence, each person needs to concentrate on changing attitude in the most positive way, not only in work, cooperation, behavior inside the company and outside society but also in very one’s thought. Each individual should set the company’s benefit above personal interest because once the company develops it certainly offers the most favorable environment for individual development. In the past 12 years, the fact that from a small limited company in Dong Nai province, Truong Hai now owns a system of production factories at Chu Lai and comes to build an auto mechanical industrial park has proved my viewpoint above. The change has helped our company become more powerful to be able to accomplish strategies to 2012 and vision to 2018, which is the necessary condition for us to go through “integration door” to join in regional market.

In the joyful atmosphere to celebrate 12 year anniversary of the company’s establishment and 10 year of Northern establishment and development, I would like to invite all of you to “change to develop”. I surely believe that together with the development of the company, each individual will have the chance to grow up, which will enable us to devote more to the country.
